  • How do I take measurements of myself?

For accurate tuxedo measurement, two people are needed. To acquire measurements for yourself, certain steps must be performed with a partner.

The only thing that will be effected by the measurements will be the tuxedo silhouette, which is also effected by your body type.

Chest: Place one end of a tape measure on the farthest part of your chest, wrap it around the circumference of your chest to get the measurement.

Waist: Use measuring tape to circle your waist like a belt, at your natural waistline. Don’t hold your breath, this will get a false measurement.

Hips: Start at one hip and wrap the tape measure around the other hip. Make sure the tape is over the largest part of your buttocks.

Inseam: Stretch the tape the distance from the uppermost inner part of your thigh to the bottom of your ankle. Don't Include the length of your heel.

Thigh: Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of the thigh, from front to back and then back around to the front.

Upper arm:  Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your upper arm from front to back and around to the start point.

Sleeve length: Place your hand at your waist, your elbow should be bent at a 90-degree angle. Then start at the middle of the back then stretch the tape across the neck and measure to your shoulder, down your arm to the elbow, and then on to the wrist.

Please make sure you have all the necessary measurements before your final fitting. Afterward you will be formally dressed by one of our tuxedo experts.
